Pippa and Ellie, Stuart House Captains

Our annual House celebration began with Mass, where Head of House Miss Love and House Captain Ellie gave readings about House Patron Janet Stuart and love, inspiring all members of Stuart with her life lessons and legacy.

At our space-themed feast we enjoyed incredible music performed by Isabel, Cherry, Joyce and Nicole, followed by a delicious meal cooked by our spectacular catering team. After fun and games with general knowledge quizzes, guess the celebrity, space-themed word searches and name this planet activities, we all gathered in the Goddard Room, which had been transformed into outer space! Here, fizzy drinks, chocolate and skittles awaited us, as well as our amazing DJ Natasha (Lower Sixth). We all sang and danced to the upbeat music - even the teachers couldn’t stop themselves from dancing when Mamma Mia came on! The night ended with a dance off between the upper school and the lower school, where Stuart’s competitive spirit definitely shone through. It was so special to celebrate Janet Stuart’s legacy and to gather as a whole House after nearly two years of disruption - a wonderful way to end a busy half term.
