Decked in fairy lights, the Quad was once again transformed for our annual outdoor Christmas Market on Friday 24 November. Held in support of Woldingham’s bursary programme and our Ukrainian appeal, we were delighted to welcome so many parents, students and staff, as well as visitors from the local community.

It was the perfect crisp winter’s afternoon and evening to get into the festive spirit and eat, drink and shop, accompanied by students singing Christmas songs. With more than 40 exhibitors selling a range of goods, including fashion, jewellery, gifts, accessories, home décor, award winning pies, cheeses, wine, gin, rainbow trout and artisan fayre from traditional striped market stalls, there was much to tempt shoppers.

Alongside the market, the festive food area offered a variety of seasonal treats, including mulled wine, hot chocolate, barista coffees, German sausages, pizzas, gingerbread reindeer and mince pie twists set against a backdrop of the festively floodlit Main House!

It was the perfect way to start the countdown to Christmas and the end of term.
