Many Year 11 parents joined their daughters for a splendid afternoon tea in Main House on Friday 29 April. Woldingham’s new Sixth Form suits and sportwear were on display and students could try suits for size, while parents enjoyed catching up with one another and with staff in the Stephens Room.

It was a lovely afternoon and students left with fitting cards completed, excited to order their sparkling new suits as they prepare to step into the Sixth Form.

Proceedings were rather less traditional the following Friday as Year 11 spent their last day together at Woldingham before their GCSE exams begin. Largely unrecognisable in superb TV programme-themed fancy dress outfits, students enjoyed a joyous end of year assembly, culminating in dancing in the auditorium. The day's events were concluded with a delicious BBQ in the sunshine and the wares on offer from an ice cream van.

This was a well-deserved day of fun following the hard work and preparation put in to their GCSE studies. Everyone at Woldingham wishes Year 11 students all the best as their exams begin.
