Summer BBQ September 21

The weather and relocation of the Late Summer BBQ to the Sports Hall didn’t deter those who had booked for our first social event of the year!  Around 400 guests came to meet and mingle with fellow parents, after such a hiatus of opportunity to do so, everyone seemed pleased to be out.  We were treated to delicious BBQ-style food, fizz by Squerryes and the fabulous musical talents of Cherry, Isabel, Clemmie and Keira.  A huge thank you to everyone who supported the raffle and merchandise sales on the night, we are very grateful for your ongoing support of the bursary programme.  For those who didn’t receive the programme and would like more information about how to pledge a leaf on our bursary trees, please click this link.

At the same time, over 150 students descended on the tennis bubble for an atmospheric, not so, silent disco.  In full festival-style, donning headphones to listen to the live DJ, singing could be heard from the Millennium Centre car park, the excitement was such!  The drizzle didn’t detract from the occasion for our students who relished the opportunity to dance and sing throughout, fuelled by the sweet treats on offer!

Thank you to our parents, staff and students who made our first social event of the year such a success.
