A group of Year 11 students raised more than £3,000 for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal by completing a sponsored walk from Woldingham to Clapham Common on Sunday 20 March. Organised by Chloe, who was joined by Daisy, Phoebe, Niamh, Anna, Madelief and Liv, the 18-mile walk took six hours to complete.

Chloe said afterwards, ‘Thank you to everyone who donated and who supported and encouraged us. We raised more than I ever imagined we would when I thought of the idea. I know the money is really needed in Ukraine so it was very worthwhile.’
